As part of the inaguration of surgery at Vasantapura Viveka Vasanta eye hospital, a branch of Sri Vivekananda Sevashrama, a surgery camp was arranged for the inmates of Beggers colony in Bangalore. 16 free cataract surgeries were conducted on Sunday, 27th November 2011. We have conducted more than 400 surgeriesfor the inmates of the colony. This is part of drishti dana seva project to serve the poorest of the poor.

Mega cataract surgery camp at Challagera PHC in Kushtagi taluk of Koppal district, Karnataka,India When we conduct 200 to 300 surgeries in a two day camp waiting becomes innevitable . They may have to wait for two days to get their turn for free cataract surgery.

One of the children at our multi disability school. She cannot walk or speak lies flat and glares at the sky. No reaction when handled. Ayurvedic massage has helped the child . Effort is being made to help the child to walk Parents helping the child to walk.
