This gentleman, sri Narayanaswamy is an inmate of the beggars colony in Bangalore. He has a sad story to tell which forced him to beg in the streets of Bangalore. He has children whohave refused to look after him after reliving him of his assets. He had a decent job of a sanitary inspector in Tamilnadu. He retired from his service with his savings. He got his children educated and they are in decent jobs now. But they refuse to look after him in his old age. He needs an old age home and not this beggars colony to spend rest of his life. Who will care for him and many other who need decent shelter in their advanced age

This photo has an interesting story behind it. The young kid had brought this blind elderly persone to our camp at Maski in Raichur district of Karnataka state, India. We tried our best to restore eye sight for the left eye by conducting cataract surgery. There were plenty of complications and we could not restore his eyesight. The boy who had great hopes was sadended when we told him that we are unable to cure his blindness. Man can only conduct surgery but to bring back sight is God's work. He teaches us our limitation now and then
