            This is the inauguration of Free school children summer camp at PT Belagola. The camp was conducted from 12th to 22nd April. The inauguration was conducted first by paying floral offering to Swami Vivekananda, By lighting lamp by guests & by watering a plant as symbolic of a pledge to protect nature. 

Donation in Marriage hall fir eye Surgery

              Sevashrama had a unique opportunity for collecting donation in a wedding hall. Sri Govinda, one of our volunteers informed us to collect donation in his brother sons marriage. The bride groom is a brahmin boy & bride is from Portugal. We collected Rs. 45,000 on this occasion.

            This is mariage between Hindu Brahmin gentleman & aportugese lady held at Pattabhi Ramamandira, jayanagar, Bangalore. Sri Vivekananda Sevashrama has its special interist in this mariage. All those who attended the function gifted money for the cataract surgery project of Sri Vivekananda Sevashrama as per the wishes of the Bride & Bride groom. This is the second time that we collected donations in the mariage hall. We got Rs.45,000 as donation for which receipts were issued in the marriage hall itself. Let some others follow this example and donate money for service activities. 

Sight to sightless

          Shifting men & materials after proper packibg is a tedious job. To bring all men 7 materials to Bangalore & place them in their regular places requires serious effort. This is the view of Hagaribommanahalli mega eye camp.

    Madhuranath in Hatti mega camp. Normally he attends to A-Scan & Keretometer for measuring intra ocular lens power. Ofcourse all of us have to do all jobs wjen called upon to do so.

Tailoring & computer classes

        Sri Vivekananda Sevashrama is conducting tailoring & computer classes at Belagola on Mysore KRS road. Around 20 students take part in  the training. We have taken a building on rent mainly to stock old clothing brought from Bangalore for distribution. We want to expand the activities as and when resources are available. We welcome old & new tailoring machines, computers & old & new clothing especially for poor children.
