          We do take extra care for children's surgery when conducted at camps. The camps are held on Friday & Saturday. Those operated on Friday are discharged on Saturday morning & the rest on Sunday morning. The patients are eager to see the light after being partially blind for some time. They will be extremal happy when the bandage is opened

Fitting A/c for the operating theater at Pavugada. Governments spend lakhs of rupees for all sorts of things but they do not care fix sutableA/c's for operation theaters even in taluk hospitals. Sri Vivekananda sevashrama carries A/c's along with the other equipment and fix them for the theaters. We have donated many A/c' to government hospitals. The above pictures shows A/c being fitted. These two A/c's were donated to the hospital after our eye camp on 15th March 2013.    

There are the patients operated at Pavugada Taluk Hospital in Tumkur dist. of Karnataka state, India In all 137 patients were operated for cataract on 15th March 2013.

This is Sugganahalli PHC managed by Karuna Trust. KRS foundation is supporting this PHC activities. Sevashrama has conducted more than 1000 surgeries in this PHC. Attendance is normally low, around 40 surgeries are conducted in each camp.
