Jayanna, a group D worker at Alkapura PHC in Gowribidanuru Taluk of Chikkabllapur District retires on 30 June 2012 from long Government Service since reaching the age of superannuation. He has helped Sri Vivekananda Sevashrama in conducting free cataract surgery eye camps at Alkapura. An efficient worker that he was he was a pillar of strength for us in managing things including the preparation of OT and helping the patients including in serving food. He was a good gentleman always enjoyed the work which was strenuous and demanding. He has promised us to work as a volunteer at our further camps. We had organised a small thanks giving function on 22 June, the day of our eye camp.We have taken a few photos and published them in face book.
