Sight to the Sightless

                A small tailed old building has been rented to house the activities of Sri Vivekananda Sevashrama, Bangalore. It is at Belagola on Mysore-KRS road Equidistant from Srirangapattana and Mysore. We have to dump our materials before distribution to beneficiaries. These are photos taken on the occasion of inauguration with pooja & prasada. The first load of materials is also unloaded at the center.

A small tiled roofed house has been rented at Belagola on Mysore KRS road for storing old clothing & other materials before distribution to the beneficiaries  It also houses Tailoring section & computer training center. We have plans to start a small library for the benefit of children.

        These two children were operated for mature cataract at our Kustagi Mega camp on 2 Nov. 12. There were heavy drizle throughout the two days. A small number of patients attended the camp and we could conduct 131 free IOL cataract surgeries during the camp. Though the camp was sheduled for two days for lack of patients the camp was closed afte rthe surgery on the first day itself. The rain was due to Neelam Cyclone off Chenai cost.
