Sight to the Sightless

                  Sri Vivekananda Sevashrama organised a function for celebrating the 150th birthday celebrations at girls high school, Chikka Ankanahalli, Srirangapattana Taluk of Mandya District. We distributed 500 Ladoos for children at high school, Higher primary school  at Chikka Ankanahalli & at Upper primary school at Hampapura nearby where we conduct slow learners project. We also distributed booklets on the teachings of Swami Vivekananda. Normally people choose bigger towns & cities for functions. We chose a small village to spread the message of Swamiji.

                  Some of the pictures taken on the occasion of the 15th Anniversary function on 26th January 2013. We had invited voluntary workers from Mysore for the function. We presented momentos to our doctors & others. The function was a great success.

Lot of pencils received as donation from Mallikarjun of Anatha Shishu Nivasa was distributed at some schools in Mysore. There were more than 700 pencils available for distribution. Children were very happy.

                  Some of the photos from Kavitala mega eye camp sponsored by Hindustan Aeronotics limited, Medical services division, Bangalore. Kavitala is in Raichur dist. of karnataka, India. Sri Vivekananda Sevashrama conducted 228 free IOL surgeries at its mega eye camp conducted on 15th Dec. 12. Till date Sevashrama has conducted 25,916 Free IOL cataract surgeries at various camps in Karnataka.
