After instructions about the use of eye drops & medicines the patients return backhome. They have regained their eyesight for the rest of their life. Now they can walk independently and move about freely without seeking help.

Temple of Venugopalaswamy at Surapura, yadgir Dist.

        Venugopalaswamy temple at Surapura is an ancient temple maintained well. It is on the top of a hillock in the middle of the town. Sri Vivekanada Sevashrama volunteers visited this temple during the mega free IOL eye camp conducted on 20th July 2012. It was at walkable distance from the hospital Quarters where we stayed. Surapura is like a hill station with beautiful surroundings.

Cataract Surgery : Know something about it Cataract development is a natural phenomenon which cannot be prevented. Natural clear lens looses its clarity gradually and the vision is blurred. If cataract is mature patient is almost blind due to cataract.  Fortunately it is curable. At some age, normally after sixty years, people will get cataract.
